The Joy Formidables + Muse @ Nantes Zénith (22/10/2012)

It is in a sold out Zenith that Muse played on last October 22nd. I must say they were well awaited as they had not put their suitcases in Nantes for over 6 years.
Again, The Joy Formidable had the difficult task of heating the venue before the band arrival. If, in Paris they had managed to create a good atmosphere, in Nantes it was far from being the case. Despite the energy of Ritzy Bryan and her mates, the crowd was not at all receptive.
Muse concert began at top speed with Unsustainable and Supremacy. The rest, well oiled, took place as in Bercy a few days ago, in front of a delirious audience!

The British trio reserved a surprise to Nantes crowd for the occasion, the setlist was different from Paris: Map Of The Problematique and Stockholm Syndrome left the place to Hysteria and Newborn which delighted more than one! Emblem of Origin Of Symmetry with Plug In Baby, Citizen Erased or Bliss, Newborn had not yet been played in France this year.
Having been somewhere in the crowd in Paris, I wanted to try the "first row" experience and I was not disappointed! I had a clear view of the stage and of the band which was appreciable, and thus I was at the place to be when Matt comes down to meet his fans. Besides, he shakes hands and squarely take the time to look people in the eyes.

For the anecdote, Chris had some troubles with his harmonica at the beginning of Knights Of Cydonia. He had to use 3 different harmonica before being able to start the song with dignity.
